Tchaikovsky's classic score is the point of departure for a re-imagining of a Christmas classic. All the familiar characters are there: Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy, a wooden Nutcracker…but in this unique version, the dancers in pointe shoes are joined by everything from martial arts mice to angels that really fly! The result is an upbeat, toe-tapping, entertaining Nutcracker that engages Colorado Springs audiences and has been called "The most entertaining nutcracker."
